The Idea
Why is it that people often lose their religion during the teen and early adult years? One obvious reason is this: spiritual beliefs & concepts that were fine for childhood thinking are simply no longer adequate for the complexity of adult life and thought.
Faith & Reality is about helping people transition to a mature and authentic faith. For those struggling to integrate science and scripture, reason and experience, faith and culture, F&R provides a safe forum for frank discussion about taboo subjects.
Faith & Reality is a group of friends. It's a coffee house, movie theatre & social club where people can be light-hearted as well as serious. Our location on the doorstep of the University of Victoria allows us to provide 'faith and worldview support' for Christian students as they study at one of Canada's premier universities.
Whether or not you are a student or a believer in God, every truth-seeker will find a welcoming community here.
